Hamilton narrowed the gap at the foot of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League to three points as they secured a welcome 1-1 draw in Inverness. Mickael Antoine-Curier's penalty on the stroke of half-time for the visitors cancelled out Dani Sanchez's close-range opener at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium. Visiting substitute Marco Paixao hit the post in the second half and Russell Duncan, who came off the bench for Inverness, had his low shot cleared off the line as both side slooked for a winner. Spaniard Dani Sanchez scored his second goal in two home games when he broke the deadlock after a quiet opening, lashing the ball into an unguarded net in 18 minutes. Former Inverness midfielder Dougie Imrie failed to test home goalkeeper Ryan Esson after a fast counter-attack saw him burst forward, but his shot ballooned over. With Hamilton coming into the ascendancy, Inverness' Ross Tokely felled Gary McDonald in the box with only seconds remaining in the half. Antoine-Curier coolly scored the equaliser from the spot on the stroke of half-time.
