Foran rules out sentimental reunion

The 29-year-old was signed by Terry Butcher, then Well manager now in charge of Caley Thistle, in 2004 and went on to score 23 goals in 90 appearances in a three-year spell with the Lanarkshire side.[LNB]The Irishman left for Southend but returned north of the border last month after loan spells at troubled Darlington and opened his Inverness account in last weekend's 2-0 win over Hibernian.[LNB]Foran is hoping for more of the same this weekend, with the visit of some old friends.[LNB]"I still keep in contact with a few boys there and, in all fairness, I had a really good time there," he said.[LNB]"It's like Inverness in the way it's a well-run club and has that type of family atmosphere to it where everyone's pulling together for each other.[LNB]"I have great memories of my spell at Fir Park. In fact, I was actually looking forward to going back there and playing but it's a home game for us and that's great for us to have a better chance of getting the three points.[LNB]"I think Motherwell will be okay, we'd like to drag them into the scrap but they'll be pushing for top six. They have a good squad, manager and play some good football.[LNB]"Hopefully, we can take three points off them on Saturday though.[LNB]"I've seen the highlights of their game against Celtic and they opened them up a fair bit, but hopefully with home advantage, we can do the same thing and get a couple of chances."[LNB]Three points over Well on Saturday coupled with a Hibs win at home to Falkirk would be enough to see Inverness climb off the bottom of the SPL for the first time this year.[LNB]The Highlanders are still unbeaten under the reign of Terry Butcher and Foran maintains that has to continue.[LNB]"We've had a great start," he said. "When I first came into the club we were adrift at the bottom and to pull it back to a point is excellent.[LNB]"But that counts for nothing and the hard work starts here; this is when the pressure gets higher and the fans expect you to win games every week now.[LNB]"We've got the fitness levels and the players now; it's all about our mental approach to the matches and the gaffer and Maurice (Malpas) come in and help.[LNB]"We've got to concentrate on ourselves and stay focused on results only; obviously you want teams around you to lose.[LNB]"Saturday's a massive game for us and we know that; Falkirk have a really tough away game to Hibs and we know what'll happen if we can win and they slip up.[LNB]"If you work hard, you'll get the little breaks in a game. We're starting games really well and that's important. We're also getting some luck along the way too and it's about time.[LNB]"Hibs missed a fair few good chances on Saturday there and perhaps before Christmas they would've gone against us."[LNB]Foran has been played out on the left of midfield and helped provide an attacking threat Inverness have lacked over the course of the season.[LNB]The defence has also been heaped with plaudits and the Irishman chipped in with his own tribute to a back four which has kept three clean sheets in four.[LNB]He said: "It's so hard playing against Grant (Munro) and Pavels (Mihadjuks) at the back and then you've got big Ross (Tokely) and Lionel Djebi-Zadi.[LNB]"You know, it's a hard defence to play against and train with. We've managed to get a few past them in training but I say they're the best back four I've played with in my career."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
