Tel wants ICT players to replicate last season's memorable run-in. CALEY JAGS gaffer Terry Butcher urged his players to look back a year as they prepare to push for top six SPL football for the first time. ICT's top six dreams were dealt a blow at Dundee United, but the Caley Jags are still in with an outside chance with three games to go till the split. Inverness CT was in a similar position a year ago when they let a two-goal lead slip in the same city to draw 2-2 against Dundee, leading many to believe they would fail to win the First Division. However, the players responded by going on a 12-match unbeaten run to make a swift return to the SPL at Dundee's expense and Butcher says that's where the current squad should look to for inspiration. He told the Inverness Courier: "We've shown already that we can compete against these teams. "It certainly doesn't worry us that we are currently in seventh place. "Last year, we found ourselves in the chasing pack and we still achieved what we set out to do, so it shows the players are capable and we will certainly give it a right good go in the games we have left."
