Butcher `sick' after defeat

Inverness manager Terry Butcher was bitterly disappointed with the 2-1 defeat by Motherwell. Nick Blackman and Alan Gow put Well two ahead before Stuart Duff's 74th-minute strike gave Caley some hope. But the goal could not stop them from slipping to a fourth home league defeat this season. "I'm sick," said Butcher. "Motherwell deserved the three points. "We wanted to build on the five-match unbeaten run we had going and also our result against Rangers, but at least five players from that game were off-key against Motherwell. "We've now got Aberdeen on Tuesday and even though I know about their result against Celtic (losing 9-0), I don't care because it's now all about how we respond."
