Butcher set to ring the changes

Inverness manager Terry Butcher warned his players to expect changes for Saturday's home match against Motherwell following their 2-0 defeat by Dundee United on Tuesday. Caley Thistle failed to bounce back from defeat at Hibernian on Saturday as goals from substitutes Prince Buaben and David Robertson took the Tayside club above their opponents in the Clydesdale Bank Premier league. Buaben slotted home from 10 yards in the 74th minute after being set up by David Goodwillie and Robertson killed off the contest in the last minute when he drove home from 18 yards. Butcher, who lost Aaron Doran to a groin injury, said: "It's as wretched a performance as I've seen. A bad one on Saturday and another one. "It is unfathomable how they can go from so excellent last year to being unrecognisable now from the players they were before - it's crazy. "I didn't have a go at them on Saturday and we had a good day on Monday and I was really confident with the team, but we were second best. It's an incredible turnaround from where we were before and we'll just see what team I pick on Saturday because I want players to stand up and say `I want to play for Inverness Caley Thistle now and be part of the team'."
