Butcher plotting to stop Hearts

Manager Terry Butcher has challenged his Inverness side to ensure they end 2010 with an unbeaten away record ahead of Saturday's match with Hearts at Tynecastle. Caley Thistle are undefeated away from home since November 2009, their unbeaten run helping them to promotion to the Clydesdale Bank Premier League, where it has been sustained. Full of confidence after drawing 1-1 with SPL leaders Rangers last Saturday, Butcher's men are looking to go a calendar year without losing on the road, with only Saturday's match at Hearts standing in the way. Butcher said: "It's been a wonderful year and we want to end playing away in 2010 in the league on a really healthy note and make sure we go unbeaten throughout the year. "It's been an incredible year and we don't want that to stop and I don't think it will stop. "The players have that mentality now that they've put so much hard work and effort into what we've achieved and what we've done that they don't want to throw that all away by being slack now."
