Butcher keeping feet on the ground

Inverness boss Terry Butcher is refusing to get carried away by the prospect of his side finishing the season in the top half of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League. Goals from Shane Sutherland, Richie Foran and on loan Burnley forward Alex MacDonald earned Inverness an impressive 3-0 win over Motherwell yesterday. The success moved them back into the top six following consecutive 2-0 defeats to Hibernian and Dundee United "Don't mention the top six," said Butcher. "We're keeping quiet about that. All we want to focus on is trying to get as many points as possible out of the remaining games we have. "That has been our mantra since the start of the season. Come the split, we'll see where we are and then take it from there. "The good thing is from our point of view we have got to play teams in and around us, so we'll see what happens."
