Butcher furious with Caley display

Inverness manager Terry Butcher slammed his players after their 1-0 defeat at Aberdeen, describing the performance as their worst of the season. Twenty-year-old Peter Pawlett came off the bench to score his first senior goal and end the Pittodrie side's eight-game winless run. Holding a DVD containing highlights from the match, the Caley boss said: "I have a barbecue tomorrow and I'm going to put this on it as that was a horror show. From being so high on Monday to being so low today. "Aberdeen were miles better than us and could have been one or two up before half-time. We tried to step it up after the break but I think we only had one shot on target through Shane Sutherland. "It was by a mile our worst display of the season and we have had a few bad ones. The only positive I can take from the match was that it was nice and sunny and warm. "Anyway, I would rather talk about Kate Middleton's dress than how we played - I thought it was magnificent, unlike our performance!"
