Sneijder happy with Inter stay

Internazionale's Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder has confirmed that he would like to remain at the San Siro for the remainder of his career.

The 26-year-old enjoyed a superb first season with the Nerazzurri, helping Inter win the Serie A title and then the Champions League, before being a key member of the Netherlands side who reached the World Cup final in South Africa.

Sneijder told the club's official website: "I would like to close out my career out at Inter because I have settled in very well here.

"I have some excellent team-mates and together we have won everything.

"On the streets I meet a lot of lovely people, even if they do not support Inter. The only thing I do not like is the traffic."
