Sneijder eyes Bernabeu glory

Internazionale star Wesley Sneijder is hoping he can guide his side to Champions League glory next month at the home of the club that sold him last summer.

With the final at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu home, the Dutchman would love to show his former employers exactly what they are missing out on after he was deemed to be surplus to requirements at the Spanish giants.

Inter must take on Barcelona in the semi-final for the chance to face either Bayern Munich or Lyon in this season's showpiece and he wants his team-mates to go for the jugular, with the first leg at San Siro on Tuesday night.

Speaking to UEFA.com, he said: "I have been dreaming about this ever since I arrived at Inter.

"It would be nice to play there and win the cup - a great moment.

"I knew the final was at the Bernabeu. I was dreaming about reaching the final and lifting the cup. We're just two games away now, so let's go for it. Nothing is impossible."
