Mourinho Reveals Spanish Ambitions

Published: 01 Apr 2009 - 19:09:00

Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho has revealed he is eyeing a move to Spain in the future, although he has reiterated his desire to remain at the San Siro for the time being. The former Chelsea coach has caused controversy since taking up the Inter job last summer and some reports have suggested the fall-out from his various spats could see him leave Italy. Mourinho admits he would love to take charge of a Primera Liga team, but only after winning the scudetto with the Nerazzurri. "My dream is to win three leagues in Europe," he told television programme Chiambretti Night. "I won in England with Chelsea, I will do everything to win in Italy, then I want to also win in Spain. "This is my first year in Italy. Contracts can be torn up but I want to stay. "It wasn't easy to come to Italy but, since I have been at Inter, no-one is more 'Interista' than me." Inter are currently seven points clear at the top of the Serie A standings with nine games remaining.
