Moratti expecting Ibra stay

Internazionale president Massimo Moratti remains confident that striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will stay with the Italian champions this summer.

The 27-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to European champions Barcelona, but Moratti says that talks with Barca supremo, Joan Laporta, about a swap deal with Samuel Eto'o ended in favour of the status quo.

He told Sky Italia: "I talked with Laporta but in the end we decided to keep our own players.

"It was a dinner to satisfy both our curiosities for what we were reading.

"Ibra wanted to go to Barcelona and we wanted to know what interest there was on their part. But we both understood that each one of us liked their own player a lot.

"I believe it would be difficult for Ibrahimovic to leave because we are 100 per cent happy with him. Moreover, he seems cheerful and very professional.

"It's not the first time we've found ourselves in this situation. We're not going to lose any sleep, however, and I think that at the end he will stay."
