Milito makes Inter move

Internazionale have finally signed Diego Milito from Genoa on a four-year deal.

An agreement between Jose Mourinho and the player had been in place for some time, but the transfer did not go through until this week.

The Argentinian has signed a contract that will keep him at the San Siro until the end of the 2012-13 season.

In return, Genoa have acquired the services of Inter's Italy Under-21 international Robert Acquafresca, who was on loan at Calgiari last term.

However, Acquafresca may not remain for Genoa for long, as it is understood he may move to Atalanta on another loan agreement.

Milito, 30, scored 24 goals last season as Genoa secured fifth place in Serie A.

Meanwhile, Thiago Motta is close to joining his former team-mate at the Nerazzurri.
