Inter duo agree new contracts

Inter Milan manager Rafael Benitez has persuaded Diego Milito and Javier Zanetti to sign new contracts with the club.

Argentina international striker Milito has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the San Siro until the end of the 2013-14 campaign while Zanetti will remain at the club for three more seasons.

Former Genoa and Real Zaragoza star Milito, who scored 30 goals in all competitions for Inter last term, said after signing the new deal: "I will always thank a great club like Inter for choosing me and president (Massimo) Moratti for giving me confidence."

Zanetti is the current club captain and has been with Inter since 1995. The 36-year-old played his 700th match for the Nerazzurri last season.
