Inter confirm Pandev capture

Internazionale have confirmed the capture of striker Goran Pandev on a three-and-a-half year contract.

The 26-year-old FYR Macedonia international has signed for the Serie A champions after successfully earning his release from his contract with Lazio last month.

Pandev was granted permission to dissolve his deal with the Rome club after being frozen out of the first-team picture following a dispute with club president Claudio Lotito at the beginning of the season.

"FC Internazionale communicates that Goran Pandev has signed for the club," confirmed a club statement.

"With reciprocal satisfaction, the player has signed until June 30, 2014."

Pandev could now make his Inter debut in Wednesday's league trip to Chievo.
