Internazionale seem certain to retain their Serie A crown after winning 1-0 at Torino while second-placed AS Roma could only draw with relegation-threatened Livorno on Saturday.

Julio Cruz scored Inter's crucial day as they moved six points clear at the top of the table with only four matches of the season remaining.

Elsewhere, Kaka scored a hat-trick as AC Milan thrashed Reggina 5-1 at the San Siro. Two of Kaka's goals came from the penalty spot as further efforts by Pippo Inzaghi and Alexandre Pato completed the rout. Edgar Barreto grabbed Reggina's sole response.

Alessandro Del Piero also scored three times as in-form Juventus won 4-0 against Atalanta in Bergamo after Nicola Legrottaglie had headed the opening goal inside the opening minute.

Cagliari's Great Escape looks like ending in success after they beat Empoli 2-0 thanks to goals by Roberto Acquafresca and Michele Fini as the Sardinian side moved out of the bottom three.

Catania continued their excellent home record as they beat Lazio 1-0 thanks to Gionatha Spinesi's first-half penalty, a result which lifted the Sicilians five points clear of the relegation zone.

Mid-table Lazio finished the match with nine men after Luciano Zauri and Ousmane Dabo were sent off.

Parma are only one point above the bottom three after crashing to a 2-1 home defeat to Napoli. Parma led when Igor Budan slotted home a first-half penalty only for the visitors to equalise with a spot-kick of their own which Maurizio Domizzi netted.

After Parma midfielder McDonald Mariga had been sent off, Mariano Bogliacino grabbed Napoli's winner with 16 minutes left.

In a tempestuous finish, Parma finished the game with ten man after Giulio Falcone and Andrea Gasbarroni were dismissed while Napoli's Walter Gargano also saw red.

Sampdoria are sixth after beating Udinese 3-0 with Claudio Bellucci grabbing a brace and Antonio Cassano also getting on the scoresheet, while Genoa won the mid-table clash at Siena 1-0, Abdoulay Konko scoring the only goal of the match.
