Reigning champions Internazionale regained top spot in Serie A with a stunning 4-0 victory at Roma.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted twice for the visitors in the Stadio Olimpico, with Dejan Stankovic and Victor Obinna also on the scoresheet for the Nerazzurri.

Udinese fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Lecce, while Catania maintained their 100 per cent home record with a 2-0 win over Palermo - Jorge Martinez and Giuseppe Mascara the goalscorers.

Lazio were beaten 3-1 at Bologna, failing to recover from falling three goals down inside the opening 26 minutes of the game.

AC Milan's recovery continued as they saw off Sampdoria 3-0 in the San Siro, with Brazilian ace Ronaldinho finding the net twice before Pippo Inzaghi added a last-minute clincher.

Chievo and Atalanta drew 1-1, while Genoa edged out Siena 1-0 thanks to Giuseppe Biava's strike 20 minutes in at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Cagliari were left to celebrate their first win of the season after winning 1-0 at Torino, with Robert Acquafresca's late strike also lifting his side off the foot of the table at the expense of Reggina.
