Crespo vows to stay at Inter

Hernan Crespo has warned Internazionale that he won't be forced out despite being left off their 25-man squad list for the Champions League.

The 33-year-old Argentinian's future with the Italian champions has been brought into question after new coach Jose Mourinho opted to omit him from the list of players eligible for Europe.

Crespo has not always seen eye-to-eye with the Portuguese coach after failing to settle in London during his time with Mourinho's former club Chelsea.

But despite claims that his time at the San Siro is coming to a close, Crespo claims he is happy to stay for the remainder of his contract.

"Inter want to get rid of me? Well that's a shame because I'm not leaving, even if that means sitting on the bench all the time," he told Italian media.

Crespo reportedly angered Mourinho after rejecting a loan move to Sampdoria before the transfer window closed on Monday.
