Burdisso to Roma talk stalls

Inter Milan do not expect Nicolas Burdisso's proposed move to Roma to be finalised this month.

The side from the capital recently snapped up Nicolas' brother, Guillermo, but Inter director Marco Branca has revealed that negotiations for the other sibling have stalled recently.

"I don't know if the situation will change before or after the Super Cup (on August 21)," he told LaRoma24.it.

"What I know is that right now there are no negotiations. Today, we can say that there is no deal. Roma have actually postponed talks over these last two weeks. That doesn't change much - we are tranquil."

Napoli and Juventus are now believed to be battling to sign the 29-year-old Argentinian.
