Balotelli slams Chievo fans

Angry Internazionale striker Mario Balotelli has accused Chievo fans of racist chanting following his side's 1-0 Serie A victory on Wednesday.

Balotelli scored the only goal of the game at the Stadio Marc Antonio Bentegodi to maintain the champions' healthy advantage at the top of the table.

However, the striker was seething at full-time after claiming he had been verbally abused by a section of the home fans.

"Every time I come here to play the City of Verona always disgusts me even more," he declared.

"I am happy with the win and with my goal too."
