Balotelli eyes loan switch

Reports suggest highly-rated Internazionale striker Mario Balotelli is on the verge of handing in a transfer request.

The 18-year-old has been left on the substitute's bench for most of this season by Inter boss Joe Mourinho and is keen to secure a loan switch in January so that he can play regular first-team football.

Balotelli's brothers are scheduled to meet the club's directors and officials next week when they will highlight the teenager's intentions.

Juventus, AC Milan and AS Roma would all be interested in the player, who is keen to win a call-up into the full Italy side as soon as possible.
