Agent: Inter want Baptista

AS Roma striker Julio Baptista is wanted by Serie A rivals Internazionale, according to a claim from his agent.

Brazil international Baptista is rumoured to be wanted by the league leaders and reigning champions in exchange for defender Nicolas Burdisso.

"Baptista to Inter? We are working on this objective. There is something but we need some time," claimed agent Alessandro Lucci.

"We have a good rapport with Inter and this may develop further.

"It's all a question of time, so we have to wait. I hope we can resolve the situation by the end of the month."

Baptista, 28, has struggled to hold down a first-team place since joining Roma from Real Madrid in 2008.
