Adriano won't rule out return

Brazil striker Adriano has hinted that he could be ready to return to European football.

The former Internazionale striker is currently back in Brazil with Flamengo following a troubled spell in Italy.

He was released by Inter in April 2009 following a series of run-ins with various coaches at the Serie A club.

However, the 28-year-old has refused to rule out returning to European football at some point in his career following reports of recent interest from AC Milan and AS Roma.

He explained: "I have never made choices in my life for money, so I would not return to Europe unless I felt I was playing well enough.

"If money counted for something in my life, I would not have left my salary at Inter to come to Flamengo.

"The only thing I have said is that now I actually have the ability to return to European football because I feel more mature and ready.

"But I would still need to think and make the decision with my family."
