Hull City have landed former fans' favourite Dean Windass on a season-long loan switch from Bradford City.
Hull-born Windass scored 57 goals in 176 appearances during a four-year spell with the Tigers in the ear;y 1990s.
The 37-year-old has netted 12 times for the Bantams this term, but has been allowed to leave on loan "purely for financial reasons", according to City boss Colin Todd.
Windass has made almost 600 appearances for the likes of Middlesbrough, Oxford, Aberdeen and Sheffield United during a 16-year career.
Last year Bradford reportedly turned down a £500,000 bid for the veteran marksman from Premiership side Wigan Athletic.
