We can go all the way - Green

Stuart Green believes there is no reason why Hull City should not go on and win the Nationwide Division Three title this season.

The midfielder scored one of the goals in the Tigers' 2-0 victory at Rochdale on Saturday that lifted Peter Taylor's side up to second in the Nationwide Division Three table.

"We're over the moon with the result," Green told the Hull Daily Mail.

"We deserved it. Rochdale are a good footballing team but I think we gave them a bit too much respect in the first half.

"We came out in the second half and showed what a good team we are. Not many teams will come to Rochdale and win this season. We've got three points and we're looking like we could go all the way.

"Teams don't come to Rochdale and win and stay in mid-table. We're looking good in all areas.

"However, we've got to keep it going. We've got homes games against Kidderminster and Swansea next and if we could get six points it really would set us up.

"We won't be getting carried away. The gaffer won't let that happen. He'll nail us back down to earth in training."
