Unhappy Taylor fines Green

Hull City have fined midfielder Stuart Green after he failed to turn up to watch his team-mates lose 1-0 to Lincoln City on Saturday.

Tigers boss Peter Taylor had expected Green to attend the game but the former Newcastle youngster decided to watch Carlisle play Kidderminster instead.

"Stuart Green hasn't showed up so he will be disciplined by the club for that," Taylor told the Hull Daily Mail.

"I'm not prepared to say what that will be. It is an internal matter.

"The rules are all the players must turn up to watch games, unless they have got permission to be elsewhere. Stuart knew what the position was.

"I am disappointed with Stuart. Apparently, he went to watch Carlisle. Obviously, I will be talking to him this week to see what he has to say but I'm not happy."
