Hull City defender Michael Turner impressed Tigers boss Phil Brown with his man of the match display in the 1-0 victory at Burnley.
Turner excelled at the back for City at Turf Moor, before popping up with a last-minute winner to sink the Clarets on their own patch.
Brown said afterwards: "Michael Turner was the best player on the park by a long, long way.
"He had his hands full with Ade Akinbiyi when he came on and he had his hands full with Andy Gray at the start of the game.
"In a different way he had his hands full with Robbie Blake, so he's had four or five strikers coming at him and stood up to them manfully.
"I think he deserved to get the winner."
