Turner cool on exit rumours

Hull City defender Michael Turner has calmed talk of him being a target for several major Premier League clubs.

The 25-year-old has been linked with both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in recent days, but Turner is cool about such rumours.

He said: "I am just concentrating on my training at the moment as I want to get fit for the first game of the season.

"I have heard about one or two things that have been in the paper, but I am not really thinking about it to be honest.

"I am just concentrating on getting fit."

Turner joined the Tigers in the summer of 2006 from Brentford and has gone on to rack up 142 appearances in all competitions, scoring 13 goals.
