Hull City have completed a triple transfer swoop after adding Peter Halmosi, George Boateng and Tony Warner to their ranks ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Tigers have been on the trail of several new signings following their promotion to the top-flight was confirmed via the play-offs in May, with manager Phil Brown adding just free agents Geovanni and Bernard Mendy to his squad.
But the summer strengthening progamme has now moved up a gear with the arrival at the KC Stadium of three new players.
Veteran midfielder Boateng has joined the club on a two-year contract in a £1million deal from Middlesbrough, while goalkeeper Warner has signed up on a free transfer following his release by Fulham.
Meanwhile, Hungary winger Halmosi has joined from Plymouth Argyle for an undisclosed fee on a four-year contract.
The Tigers are believed to have paid a club record £2million to land the international midfielder.
Elsewhere, Brown remains hopeful of re-signing last season's loan star Frazier Campbell.
The 20-year-old scored 15 times while on loan from Manchester United during the last campaign.
"I spoke at length with Sir Alex Ferguson at the end of the season, having kept him up to speed with the progress Fraizer Campbell had made all season," he revealed.
"He was adamant that all his players would come back for pre-season training.
"When they come back from South Africa there is an opportunity to talk again.
"I fully trust Sir Alex's word on that and when they come back from South Africa I will be putting a call in. There is always a possibility."
