Tigers still wait for Folan

Hull City striker Caleb Folan is still some way off a return to action as he continues to struggle with a foot injury.

The 25-year-old has made just three appearances for the Tigers since his £1million arrival from Wigan Athletic, but City boss Phil Brown is content to wait for Folan's return.

He told the Hull Daily Mail: "It's been a very frustrating time for him. I see the player working with the physio every day and it's a lonely time for him.

"He needs to know that he's got all the support that he needs from myself and the football club to get over this very frustrating time.

"He's only been involved in three games in eight weeks and now he's going to need something close to a pre-season schedule before we can bring him to the table.

"That will be a frustrating spell for both of us, but one that can't be taken lightly."
