Hull City have confirmed that they are interested in signing Fulham striker Bobby Zamora.
Zamora moved to Craven Cottage from West Ham United last summer but found the net only twice in 35 appearances for Roy Hodgson's team during the 2008-09 campaign.
Tigers chairman Paul Duffen confirmed: "We have an understanding with Fulham but nothing will happen unless they get a striker in."
Hull have been linked with a host of strikers this summer including Fraizer Campbell, Marc-Antoine Fortune and Darius Vassell.
Zamora was a prolific scorer during his time with Brighton but has found it much harder to find the net during spells with Tottenham, West Ham and the Cottagers.
