Hull City manager Phil Brown has continued his rebuilding job at the KC Stadium by signing the Colchester United striker Richard Garcia on a free transfer under the Bosman ruling. The 25-year-old Australian has penned a three-year contract with the Tigers after spending the last three seasons at Layer Road. Garcia started his career as a trainee at West Ham United and made 22 appearances for the club before moving to Colchester for a nominal transfer fee in September 2004. He scored 16 goals in 62 League starts and 20 appearances from the substitute's bench for the U's.
