Tigers firm over Halmosi bid

Hull City chairman Paul Duffen has warned Plymouth Argyle that his club will not push the boat out to sign winger Peter Halmosi.
Tigers boss Phil Brown is keen to sign the Hungary international, but the Premier League new boys are refusing to meet Argyle's £3million valuation of the player.
Plymouth paid £400,000 to sign Halmosi from Debreceni just 12 months ago.
"We're not going to get into a bidding war because we've got lots of options," Duffen told the Hull Daily Mail.
"There are very few must-have players available but there are a number of nice-to-have players out there - and Halmosi is one of those.
"We have a number of options available and we're very relaxed about things."
Meanwhile, Brown has yet to hear whether the veteran free agent duo of defender Bernard Mendy and midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos will accept contract offers to join the Tigers.
