Tigers complete Gerrard deal

Hull have completed the loan signing of defender Anthony Gerrard from Cardiff.Gerrard, cousin of current England skipper Steven, has agreed to a season-long switch at the KC Stadium.The 24-year-old will go straight into Nigel Pearson's squad for the clash with Cardiff on Saturday, September 11, when he is expected to face Seyi Olofinjana, who joined the Bluebirds from Hull on a season-long loan deal earlier this summer.Gerrard, who started out as a trainee at Everton, was a regular for Cardiff last season, making 40 appearances as Dave Jones' side reached the play-off final.
