The Football Association has charged Hull City and Charlton Athletic following the mass brawl that erupted in Tuesday's Championship game between the two sides at the KC Stadium. Tigers captain Ian Ashbee and Addicks winger Lloyd Sam were sent off before half-time following the incident and players, substitutes and coaches from both sides then got involved. Both clubs have been charged with failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and refrained from provocative behaviour. Sam has already lost his appeal for wrongful dismissal.
