Hull City striker Dean Windass faces a brief spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery.
The 38-year-old frontman missed the draw with Norwich City on Tuesday and is expected to be sidelined for around ten days.
Windass has netted 12 goals this season for the Tigers.
"Dean had some cartilage trimmed," manager Phil Brown told the club's official website.
"The operation usually keeps people out for between seven and ten days.
"Knowing Dean, he will want to be back for this Saturday."
