Sunderland duo not Hull targets

Hull City will not be making bids for either Sunderland midfielder Dean Whitehead or defender Paul McShane.Republic of Ireland international McShane spent part of last season on loan with the Tigers and they enquired about Whitehead earlier in the year. But Hull chairman Paul Duffen told BBC Look North: "They are not players we are trying to acquire at this point.
