Hull striker Jay Simpson insists it is only a matter of time before his goal drought in the Championship comes to an end. The 21-year-old, who arrived on a three-year contract from Arsenal in the summer, has made 13 appearances for the Tigers this season, but has yet to find back of the net. Simpson, who hit the post in the 2-0 win at Preston on Friday night, told the club's official website: "Every striker goes through it at some stage in their career and I'm going through a drought myself at the moment. "Hopefully, when the first goal goes in the rest will follow like London buses." On City's lowly position in the Championship, he added: "We're definitely good enough to climb up the league. We're working on things all the time in training and hopefully it's just a matter of time before we start climbing the table."
