Parkinson's striker swoop hint

Hull City boss Phil Parkinson hinted that he will look to bring in another striker before the transfer window closes following the 3-2 defeat to Barnsley on Tuesday.
The Tigers have already swooped to sign Dean Marney, Michael Turner, Sam Ricketts and David Livermore this summer, while Tottenham winger Mark Yeates will complete his season-long loan deal on Wednesday.
He told the Mail: "No manager will rule out making signings before the end of the month but I won't be rushing into any signings for the sake of it.
"But if somewhere along the line a striker becomes available to improve what we've got, then myself and the chairman will sit down and discuss matters.
"We've got a lot of strikers at this club who we want to work with and improve."
It was the Tigers' defence which left Parkinson concerned after watching his side throw away a two-goal lead, handed to them by Jon Parkin's brace, to crash 3-2 at home to newly-promoted Barnsley.
He added: "All the goals we conceded were soft goals but even when we went 2-0 up I never felt completely comfortable on the touchline.
"Defensively I thought we looked very vulnerable and it's about getting that balance right between attacking play and being tight at the back.
"We'd spoken before the game about the need to be disciplined in defence and I don't think we were last night.
"It's certainly not great to lose a 2-0 lead at home and it hurts a lot."
