Parkin close to comeback

Hull City's caretaker boss Phil Brown is looking forward to having striker Jon Parkin back in contention after more than month out of action with an ankle injury.
Parkin had netted seven goals this term before being injured in the 2-0 win at home to Wolves on November 11, but the 24-year-old may even be ready to face Leeds United this weekend.
Brown told the Hull Daily Mail: "Jon will add another dimension to the team with his height, stature, hold-up play and strength.
"Jon is still two or three days away on the training ground from joining the first-team squad and until that happens I'll dismiss a comeback.
"I'd say he's still 50/50 for the Leeds game. It depends how he trains on Thursday. Possibly he'll be on the bench on Saturday."
