Parkin back with Tigers

Hull City have recalled Jon Parkin from his loan spell at Stoke City as Tigers boss Phil Brown attempts to keep the club in the Championship. The burly striker moved to the Britannia Stadium in early March and has scored in the Potters' late three matches, all of which have been won. However, Hull included a clause in the deal allowing them to call the former Barnsley, York City and Macclesfield Town forward back to the KC Stadium with immediate effect after the first month of the loan had been completed. The 25-year-old has scored six goals in the Championship for Hull this term.
