The first set of televised games have been announced, and there is no Hull City fixture amongst them. The season opener will be Norwich City v Watford on Friday 6th August. The rest of the Championship play their first game the following day. Southampton v Plymouth will be the lunchtime game, with the BBC showing Leeds v Derby at tea-time. Sky Sports show their third game of the weekend on the Sunday, Cardiff v Sheffield United.
