Hull City goalkeeper Boaz Myhill has put pen to paper on a new three-year contract with the Championship club.
The highly-rated 24-year-old's fresh deal now runs until the summer of 2010, extending his current contract by a further two years.
Tigers boss Phil Brown told the Hull Daily Mail: "It's worth keeping in mind that Boaz is still very young for a goalkeeper.
"He'll be the first person to admit that he still has work to do to become a top-class keeper but for his age, he's ahead of the vast majority of goalkeepers.
"I'm ecstatic that Boaz has signed for the next three years. It's been an ongoing process for four or five months now, but it's fantastic news for the football club.
"I never had any doubts that we would reach an agreement because Boaz has always remained positive.
"He likes what we're trying to do here and the direction that we're taking, and he's always wanted to be a part of that."
