Former England right-back Danny Mills is looking forward to playing first-team football for Hull City after moving to the KC Stadium on a two-month loan deal.
The 29-year-old has fallen behind youngsters Nedum Onuoha and Micah Richards in the first-team pecking order at Manchester City and has seen just ten minutes of Premiership action this term.
Mills, who will make his Tigers debut against Sheffield Wednesday on Friday, said: "I was told fairly categorically that I wasn't going to play at Manchester City.
"I'm no different to any other player. I want to play regular first-team football and I'm very grateful to Hull for giving me that opportunity.
"I'm coming here for two months to start with and, if things go well, that could be extended by another month, which I'll be more than happy with."
