Hull to sign Sunderland's Murphy

Hull City have agreed a deal to sign Republic of Ireland striker Daryl Murphy from Sunderland for an initial fee of £1.5m, BBC Sport understands.The 26-year-old, who joined the Black Cats from Waterford in 2005, failed to score in 27 appearances last season. "We've agreed terms with Sunderland but there's a long way to go," Tigers boss Phil Brown told BBC Radio Humberside.
