Hull City new boy Stuart Green is delighted to have finally signed up with the Tigers and is not concerned at dropping down from Premiership
Newcastle United.
The 21-year-old midfielder sealed a permanent move to the Tigers in time to score in their first game at the Kingston Communications Stadium, a 2-0 win over Hartlepool, and also featured in the 1-1 draw at York City.
Green commented on the £150,000 move, telling the club's official website: "I'm delighted and over the past few weeks my intention was always to commit myself to Hull City.
"It was a big decision for me to leave a Premiership club and I was fortunate in that I was given time to think the move over which is what I needed.
"At the end of the day though, I don't want to play reserve-team football anymore and being a Hull City player suits me fine."
