Striker Caleb Folan has been offered the chance to re-launch his Hull City career, having ended an unsuccessful loan spell with Middlesbrough.
The 27-year-old Republic of Ireland international has made just one appearance for Boro, having fallen out with Tigers boss Phil Brown before leaving the KC Stadium on a three-month loan.
However, Brown is now ready to welcome Folan back to bolster his squad ahead of the busy festive programme.
He told the Hull Daily Mail: "Caleb's accepted whatever has happened, as I have and it's water under the bridge as far as we're concerned.
"We move on, it's a clean slate and I look forward to working with him again. We've spoken about it and it's behind us.
"Middlesbrough aren't taking things any further at the moment.
"His loan deal officially expires in the middle of December and from Monday onwards it's a clean slate and we start again."
