Hull City midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha is hoping to put fitness problems behind him to feature in the Tigers' bid to secure a play-off place.
The 34-year-old has been restricted to 15 appearances so far this season for City, but Okocha is hopeful of ending a run of frustrating niggles.
He told the Hull Daily Mail: "I've got a one-year deal and the option of another year. If I keep playing and stay fit, who knows what will happen next year?
"For me, because of my injuries, I just have to make sure I stay fit now and put my focus on playing until the end of the season.
"I want to stay fit until the end of the season and if I can do that, who knows what will happen?"
