Fadiga fails to impress

Hull City boss Phil Brown has decided not to offer a contract to Khalilou Fadiga after the Senegal international failed to impress during a trial at the KC Stadium.
The 32-year-old, who made 21 appearances for Bolton Wanderers before leaving the club last summer, played for the Tigers' reserve team in the 2-0 defeat against Rotherham United.
"We won't be going any further with Khalilou," Brown told the club's official website.
"As I explained to him, our needs are for the present. The reason I played him was because I knew what he could do and he's been a big player.
"But he hasn't been playing regular football for the best part of six months and I wanted to see what his fitness levels were like.
"They weren't all that good and that's one of the reasons why we've parted company. It was also a question of could he play for us on Saturday and the answer was no."
