Hull City goalkeeper Boaz Myhill is hoping for a successful end to a season that has progressed superbly so far.

The 25-year-old is preparing for his international debut with Wales this week, although his main focus remains trying to help the Tigers reach the promised land of the Premier League.

Myhill said: "It's been a hell of a season for me. Hull have a more than decent chance of winning promotion to the top-flight and now Wales have given me this chance.

"It has all snowballed in the past few months, so now I aim to take full advantage of the opportunities that have been put in front of me.

"We all aim to be successful together. We want to change the perception of the club, everyone tells you that Hull is the biggest city in Europe without a top-flight football team.

"It's a bit closer now than it has been for some while, but we have not achieved anything yet. But maybe we can make it happen.

"It is getting to the business end of the season right now, it's a great time to be playing for Hull with us so close to achieving something.

"We have had a rich vein of form, hopefully we can continue it now until the end of the season and achieve what the club want."
